Mr Khemani took time to listen to our concerns about our child and was incredibly reassuring. He was very thorough during the initial examination, available before and after the operation on the day of surgery and came to check personally on our child after the operation. He was friendly and approachable and built a good rapport with our child setting him at ease. He discussed all results of the operation with us at the follow up consultation and am pleased to say our child has recovered excellently.

I highly recommend this doctor. He was kind, polite, understanding and listened to everything. I felt very at ease and confident of his ability. I had to have a camera in the nose and down the throat and was very nervous about it but Mr Khemani explained in detail how it would be done and really calmed my nerves. When I had a follow up appointment a few weeks later and a second camera procedure I wasn’t worried at all. He recorded the whole procedure. When watching it back he explained it all in great detail and was easy to understand. My acute sinusitis is now pretty much cleared up and all thanks to Mr Khemani. If I ever have to see an ENT specialist in the future I wouldn’t hesitate to see Mr Khemani again. He definitely knows his profession! The nurses who assisted were really great too. Mr Khemani is a fabulous Consultant who I have no hesitation in recommending. He was kind and considerate and put me at ease straight away. He explained everything in a way that I could easily understand. As part of the consultation I had a hearing test with his Audiologist who was lovely. I’m really pleased with the care that I received as Mr Khemani is the only consultant that has been able to explain and treat my problems effectively.

We recently saw Mr Khemani on behalf of our 10 year old son who was suffering with persistent tonsil stones. We received an appointment within two weeks and Mr Khemani was patient in listening to the problems that our son had been experiencing as well as our failed attempts not only in trying to manage the condition but also that our son didn’t qualify for treatment under current NHS guidelines. Mr Khemani clearly explained what options we had, one of which involved a new type of surgery to remove most of the tonsil leaving just a small part of the root behind, the benefits of which were improved recovery time and less chance of bleeding afterwards unlike traditional tonsillectomy. All aspects of the surgery and risk assessment were fully outlined to us in person as well as in written literature. Our son went ahead with the surgery a few weeks later. Mr Khemani and his team were extremely efficient, professional and the whole day went very smoothly. Our son was discharged from hospital later in the day to recover at home. Within two weeks he was totally back to normal with no side affects and no pain. He is a changed boy. Mr Khemani has also kept us informed by letter concerning our son’s diagnosis, treatment and discharge home, with copies going to our GP surgery. Given everything from start to finish, we would highly recommend Mr Khemani as we feel we have been listened to and treated with respect.

Mr Khemani was friendly and paid lots of attention to my son at his appointments sharing his own experiences of the same problems encountered by my son which made him feel at ease. His manner was reassuring and caring.

Mr Khemani provided a 5-star service for my little boy who had problems snoring and needed a tonsillectomy and to have his adenoids removed. I was particularly impressed by the children’s nurse who kept him entertained throughout the stay. My son recovered back to normal in just a few days and nothing like some of the stories I have heard from other parents. Thank you Mr Khemani and team, we have no problems recommending their care for any child with similar problems.

Dr Khemani paid attention to the individuality of my case and suggested a less severe operation that significantly improved my recovery time. I am grateful that he was willing to discuss different procedures with me. He was also very attentive following the operation.

I cannot thank Mr Khemani enough for the care he has taken of my 12 year old daughter. Diagnosed with an extensive cholesteatoma and total loss of ossicular bones, my daughter had very little hearing in her right ear. Mr Khemani carried out surgeries that have removed the disease and restored near normal levels of hearing. We are thrilled with the result. My son had suffered with ear infections for years, and seen different doctors, he also has autism and needs clear explanation of events and understanding. Mr Khemani saw me with regards to recurrent tonsillitis, he has an excellent bedside manner and is very easy to talk to. He explained carefully what would happen and the recovery. I would recommend Mr Khemani for any ENT issues.

From our initial consultation with Mr Khemani our son has received excellent care. He carried out a tonsillectomy and removed a grommet when our son was four and recently removed the remaining grommet. Pre-op we were fully informed as to risks and likely outcomes. Post op care and follow up was also excellent.

I literally couldn’t think of anything he could of done better, he explained all options to me and made sure I understood all options!
