Mr Khemani accepts private referrals to any of the private patient locations shown on this website. Normally appointments are made following referral from your GP or from another surgeon or physician. Your referral letter can either be brought in person to your appointment or emailed to Mr Khemani’s private secretary. The referral can also be sent via the contact us page of this website.

Occasionally, Mr Khemani sees patients without a formal referral or via a direct booking from your insurance company. In these circumstances, your GP will be contacted to ensure that Mr Khemani is aware of any relevant medical details. A letter will also be sent to you and your GP after the appointment detailing the findings from the consultation and any recommendations.

Your initial consultation with Mr Khemani will typically last up to 30 minutes. During this time, he will take a comprehensive clinical history and perform relevant examinations. Depending on your specific condition, certain tests may need to be carried out during the appointment. These include:

• Pure Tone Audiometry and tympanometry
• Ear microscopy and microsuction
• Flexible video nasal endoscopy

Any additional tests such as MRI or CT scans or more detailed balance and audiology testing will be requested after the initial consultation and a follow up appointment will be offered once these have been arranged.

If you are self-funding your consultation, then any additional fees for tests and treatment will be explained to you before or during the consultation. Mr Khemani’s fees for consultations are as follows:

New Consultation: £240

Follow up Consultation: £150
